There was a lost and scared looking dog running around haywood/state st. area around noon today. It almost got hit and appears very scared. It would not let me approach but is wearing a collar w/ blue tags. Sorry I couldn't help more but hopefully this gives you a lead. No tail, mostly white w/ tan markings - looks similar to a jack russell but bigger sized. Good luck.

Just thought I put it out there!
It's a 1993,TOMOS, Golden bullet with custom black and white paint.
A good identification is: The pedals arms are chrome with black stems for pedals,because it's hard to find pedals that fit.
This kind of theft is becoming a big problem in Asheville.
Here is a picture of it. Since the picture, I've sprayed the tank black as well.
It's noisy and slow, but it was my only transport.
I was told by two witnesses that is was a young kid who stole it.
I'll be ever so great full for any information on sitings.

Sunday December 6th 2009 - Medium Sized, Aussie Shepard Mix appeared at my Cabin on East Fork Road near Dolly Masters.
Female
Aussie Shepard Coat - with Brown Eyes.
Approx: 3 yrs old
Very healthy - but has a Left back leg limp and responds to pressure on her abdomen.
Her eyes and ears seem to be bothering her.

She has been taken care of - fed/watered - bathed - flea and tick meds - and ear cleaner.

Currently being kept at East Fork Road and in town near Ingles.
She has no micro-chip and No Collar.

Very sweet - howls when she's excited. She misses home!!!

Either she was just dumped off at the old lady's house who turned her in to us, or someone saw her and thought she belonged there. She was tied to a tree in the lady's yard a day or two ago. The old lady cannot care for the dog, but did not want to take her to the shelter, so she called us.

Today we had a very good sighting of a dog walking along Bear Creek Road headed toward Bear Creek Apts. away from Patton Ave. The description makes us think this might really be Snoopy Girl. Please help us look if you can. Areas to look in are along Bear Creek Rd. any side streets from Patton Ave All the way down Bear Creek to end. If you can, grab the dog!!! We had a call today from a woman who saw a dog matching Snoopy Girl's description walking on the sidewalk on Bear Creek Road. The dog was walking away from Patton Ave. towards Bear Cree Apartment. This area is very close to the area in which Snoopy Girl went missing in August. The same dog, or a similar dog was spotted last week in the vicinity of Narbeth and Spring Side. Timber Sighting! Reward for Recovery (Emmas Grove Road, Fairview)

A dog matching Timber's description was sighted several times around the Emmas Grove road area. If it is Timber he seems to be trying to make his way back to our house in Skyland. He was sighted on Sunday night on Web Creek drive and again on Monday on Emmas Grove Road behind Emmas Grove Baptist Church. He appears to be very scared and will not let people approach him. If you see Timber please call me as soon as possible. Timber is a 13 year old male Australian Shepherd who went missing from our dogsitters on Flat Top Mountain Road on 10/11/09. He was wearing a tan collar and is microchipped. He is a friendly dog, but can be skittish around people he does not know. He has never bitten anyone.

2 things to look for when you see him:

HE HAS BRIGHT BLUE EYES, LIKE A WOLF'S
HE HAS A DOCKED TAIL

Saw a medium sized (maybe 40-50 lbs) dog in the triangle between Tunnel Rd (near tunnel) and Town Mountain rd. In area of Hopkins Chapel, Asheville Office Park and the Smith Barney/Citi building. Folks in the nearby municipal bldg say that dog has been around that same area for almost 2 weeks. Dog is mainly white, with brown or black patches. No collar. Dog was not willing to be caught (we really tried).

Snoopy Girl may have been spotted in the Malvern Hills Park area of West Asheville this morning! A woman called from Spring Garden Drive saying that she saw a dog matching Snoopy Girl's description in Malvern Hills heading towards Bear Creek Road. If you are in the area please keep a look out for our Snoopy Girl and call if you can hold the dog or even see the dog that matches her description.

Snoopy Girl went missing when she became spooked and slipped from her collar in West Asheville on August 9,2009. She may have traveled since that time. Snoopy Girl is an older female Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, she has long fur, she is mostly black with white chest and legs and some tan/brown. She has a small bit of distinctice white fur between her shoulders and white on the tip of her tail. She has floppy ears. She weighed 80 pounds but may be much thinner now. She is about knee high. She is microchipped. She is very friendly and approachable but if she has not been taken in she is probably frightened and more timid now. If you see her please try to contain her and call us asap! Stumbling and staggering from Rocket Club, down Waynesville Rd. to Dr. Neon's compound sometime after 2am on Halloween night, my keys went missing. There were reports of someone (possibly me) throwing the drummer's keys in the woods, but I managed to return those keys to that drummer (yes, I ended up with the wrong keys at the end of the night) so it's possible that I may have thrown my own keys into some nearby trees. If you happen to walk that road and notice a set of keys, please let me know. Thanx!

I lost my digital camera it's a panasonic (I think) 8.1 megapixels, silver, it was in a black camera bag with a little blue color on the strap, it had the battery charger and pc hook-ups with it, I also had some costume jewelry clip on earrings in the front pocket of the bag. The photos on it include my children's halloween pics & hiking photos. I lost it on 11-3 on or near the Parkway or at the Etowah Ingles or even the Mills River area.
