The chip is through the clearcoat but prior to having this bike built up by a bike shop I had the head mechanic look at it and he assured me this does not affectr the structural integrity of the frame or this area of the bike. In fact I have ridden this bike maybe 200 miles and really pushed the bike hard from sprints to aggressive climbs and never a issue what so ever. But if you are unsure just don't buy from me or inquire. I would not sell anything I thought would be a danger or not worth your money. A gentleman named Jason Garnham has contacted me ref. this bike but each time I e-mail you it is undeliverable. If you read this contact me with a better e-mail address. The bike still has the original 1986 Campagnolo front hub, seat post and headset the original Cinelli handlebars the Turbo white perforated leather saddle and the Brevettato Imperio pump. The rest of the components are 2005 Campagnolo. Daytona brakes/shifters. Veloce brakes, derailleur’s, bottom bracket and cranks. Mavic Reflex wheels built by Wheelsmith.
I have some older model SPD pedals if you want them.
I will also fit the bike for you.
I am the second owner of the bike which has around 1000 miles on it. The frame has a few paint chips and scuffs but very minor.
This is a great head turner looking bike. It’s very comfortable and I used it as a daily rider for a while. I also did the Burnsville metric on it.

DUE TO CONSTANT ?'S ABOUT THE CHIP IN THE CARBON I HAVE ADDED A FEW PICS. TO HOPEFULLY GIVE ONE PIECE OF MIND. The chip is through the clearcoat but prior to having this bike built up by a bike shop I had the head mechanic look at it and he assured me this does not affectr the structural integrity of the frame or this area of the bike. In fact I have ridden this bike maybe 200 miles and really pushed the bike hard from sprints to aggressive climbs and never a issue what so ever. But if you are unsure just don't buy from me or inquire. I would not sell anything I thought would be a danger or not worth your money.
